I am not the same having seen the moon shine on the other side of the world.
— Mary Anne Radmacher

Elements Adventure is a passion project, born out of an obsession with endless curiosity for travel, wandering, and the art of escaping.

The catalyst for travel started as a young-adult, the most impressionable period in one’s life, a very influential age with a curious mind and encouraging parents. It was senior year of high school when the French and Spanish club joined forces to organize a trip to France and Spain. That trip planted a seed that settled deep down and to this day has extensive roots. I went on to study abroad in Brisbane, Australia for 4 months, then into the Peace Corps in West Africa for 2 years, before then moving back to both east and west coasts, among others.

At the Core

  • Adventure

Finding the balance between risk and reward through exploration. Looking inward to challenge the comfort zone we live daily, and push our own boundaries to learn about other communities, while most importantly learning about ourselves.

  • Integrity

This is the core. Without integrity, what do we have? Integrity takes patience and perseverance - it creates humble moments and opportunities to learn. Integrity teaches us how to navigate uncomfortable spaces and systems with confidence.

  • Safety

Or what you might call, “limitations” or “boundaries.” These are the obstacles to help us maintain awareness about ourselves and our surroundings. Safety is at the core of every decision - as is safely pushing boundaries into new territory.

The goal of this site is to create and share stories and pictures of travel, adventure, and exploration. It’s to inspire others to get out of their comfort zone, document places visited, and tell stories of old lore and mischievous curiosity.

Emily grew up in southern New Hampshire. She was always always encouraged to explore, be independent, and leave no regrets. The travel bug has never left and only continues to grow. Emily’s mission is to explore and help others do the same.

My roommates from Australia used to say I was the most homesick - I did miss my family and the motherland, but by god, did I love it there. Nowadays, technology can connect us most anywhere.
